CURRENT PRODUCTION
Repair parts orders for current production products require information from the product nameplate. Please provide:Switch type and rating (kV and Amps)
The drawing number (either T- or U-# for operating mechanism parts) or L-# for live parts)
Specific description of required partTypical lead times for current production, complete three-phase switches are in 14 to 16 weeks After Drawing Approval (ADA). An order for a complete one-phase set of live parts is 6 to 8 weeks, After Receipt of Order (ARO). Cast components also require 6 to 8 weeks ARO. Punched components are typically available 1 to 2 weeks ARO.
NON-CURRENT PRODUCTION
Repair parts orders for non-current production products require a minimum of two week lead time to prepare a quotation. Many components will require either rework or re-development of tooling and fixtures. In addition, special castings are frequently required. As a result, first-time orders for punched non-production components are typically 10 to 12 weeks ; and 22 to 24 weeks for cast parts. Subsequent orders for those components will be processed in 6 to 8 weeks (punched) and 10 to 20 weeks (cast).
REPLACEMENT MATRIX
Fastest solution = replace entire switch
Least effort = replace switch with exact duplicate*
Lowest cost = replace entire switch
*If you have the T-#, U-# or L-# from the nameplate, Turner can engineer an exact duplicate switch, eliminating costly field retrofitting.
